Confirmed!! Watch Dogs Legion Get 60fps Support in Next-Gen Console

With the arrival of next-gen consoles such as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, many significant developers are trying their best to improve their games to run optimally on these gaming machines. Recently, Ubisoft announced that it would soon launch a 60fps update for Watch Dogs Legion on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Previously, the Watch Dogs Legion development team revealed future update plans, including character customization, new online content, collaborations with other Ubisoft games such as Assassin's Creed Valhalla, a new playable character named Darcy. They want to enrich the content of Watch Dogs Legion and ensure that players can enjoy a smoother performance.

In an Ask-Me-Anything thread about Watch Dogs Legion on Reddit, the live producer – Lathieeshe Thillainathan, and online director – JP Cambiotti got a question about the 60fps performance mode for the next-gen console. In a brief answer, Thillainathan and Cambiotti confirmed that 60fps support in the Watch Dogs Legion for next-gen consoles is in development.

Unfortunately, they didn't tell me when the update would arrive. However, they confirmed that the update would come as part of the upcoming Title Update. Currently, the maximum frame rate that Watch Dogs Legion can achieve on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S is only 30fps. This is undoubtedly good news considering other Ubisoft AAA games such as Assassin's Creed Valhalla and Ghost Recon Breakpoint have 60fps support.

Watch Dogs Legion itself is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Google Stadia, and PC.
